“Cooking is all about heat and timing,” says Chef Chris Hoffmann – owner and head Chef at the new Hoedspruit hotspot Cooked.
Hanging out on Route 40, Chris and his team are unpretentious and candid about food. Portions are large, ingredients are top notch. He believes that complicated food attracts complicated customers and that is not his style.
Make no mistake however, he has a serious background in food, having cooked for the likes of Reuben Riffel, Margot Janse, Pete Goffwood and trained under they careful eye of Topsi Venter.
